Sherry is a seasoned LifePower Yoga graduate of seven years. She began her own practice shortly before becoming a teacher in 2014 and fell in love with the moving art and meditation that is yoga. She has since completed over 3000 hours of teaching and continues to study and practice under the Astanga lineage.

After completing her yoga training in Ohio, Sherry traveled on to Michigan, continuing her practice with Lifetime Fitness. Later she studied again under the LifePower lineage in Scottsdale, Arizona, focusing her energy exclusively on the Astanga-Vinyasa yoga technique. Sherry recognizes her teachers and lineage are as important as the practice itself and is grateful to share in their offerings. This powerful yoga practice begs more than the physical, as practitioners of Astanga Yoga are called to devotion to the mental and spiritual realms of yoga as well.

Although many of her studies self-focused, Sherry is also a Certified Personal Trainer with the National Association of Sports Medicine. She is now investing in her first of three 600 hour courses in Ayurveda, the sister science of yoga and one of the world’s oldest holistic healing systems.
